Statement of Core Values

As members of the Arkansas Faith in Action State Coalition we affirm the following core values:

Integrity - Our Coalition and its members believe and adhere to a strong dedication to providing services to their care recipients, respect for their volunteers and reliability in their programs, which will bring honor to each of their partners and their community.

Respect - We respect the importance of each person we encounter – our care recipients, volunteers, staff members, donors, and our community – and therefore treat each person with respect and dignity.

Honesty - We practice honesty in the operations of our various Faith in Action programs with respect to daily operations and management, services provided to our care recipients, treatment of our volunteers and staff members, adherence to our missions, proper utilization of donations and finances, and to our conduct within our communities.

Accountability - As each program is mission-focused – with the mission being the providing to our various care recipients the services and support that make a difference in their daily lives – we believe and practice producing measurable outcomes, conducting program evaluations, developing and maintaining sound financial management and being good citizens within our communities are all part of our being accountable.

Stewardship
- Because of the generosity of others – our various donors – we are able to provide care and services to our care recipients. We believe that through this partnership we are required to use sound accounting procedures, use the funds within the framework of the donors, and expend the funds prudentially are all part of being a responsible steward.

Excellence - Our member programs strive for excellence in their daily journey of meeting the needs of care recipients and developing sustainable programs which can continue to provide care within their communities. Our members support and are open to methods and changes that will enhance the mission of their organizations. We value and endorse the highest ethical and professional standards in all of our working relationships.
